zAmya Theater Project invites you to a Creative Expression Session! The Sessions are a fun space for people looking to learn performance skills, create skits and songs, use creative play, and tell their story. Open to all ages and abilities, including people with disabilities. People bringing the lived experience of homelessness are especially encouraged to attend.
Creative Expression Session participants will be invited to work towards creative monologues and skits, with skill building sessions and rehearsals held in February, March and April in 2nd floor library event spaces. These sessions will culminate in a public performance on Thursday, April 10 in Minneapolis Central Library's Pohlad Hall.
zAmya Theater Project uses creativity, collaboration, and community-based theater to build understanding and connection between people who've experienced homelessness and those who have not.
